Home What we do About Us Contact Us Where we are

Clinical Psychologists have 6 years of core training to enable us to work with individuals with a variety of difficulties. We have specialist knowledge in psychological theory, which always underpins our practice.

These highly specialised skills allow us to offer a comprehensive assessment, an individualised psychological understanding of your difficulties, and an evidence based intervention from a range of therapeutic models to work in a way that is absolutely tailored to your specific needs.

What can you expect from us?

We offer a safe, confidential and non-judgemental space to work with you to help you achieve your goals. When you come for your first appointment, we will spend some time getting to know you and hearing about what is difficult for you at present. We will then develop a plan of how to work together, including a guideline of how many sessions you might require.

We work with people for as little or as much as they need, but usually this is in the range of 6-20 sessions. Of course, there is no pressure to attend a set number of sessions; you are in control of how many sessions you have! You will always see the same psychologist, and typically will meet weekly for 55 minutes.

If you require an urgent assessment or you feel your safety is at risk

We are not a crisis service. We do not have the capacity to see individuals who need immediate support when they feel they are at risk of self harm. Please see your GP, or if outside of office hours, speak to The Samaritans on 116 123, or visit your local Accident and Emergency Department.

We charge 90 per 55 minute session. This needs to be paid on the day of the session. If possible, we prefer payment by bank transfer, but you can also pay by cash or cheque.

Please note: We have a different fee structure for referrals seen via other agencies and expert witness and medico-legal work.
